What is peptide therapy?

Peptides are short chains of amino acids — the same building blocks that make up the proteins your body already uses to signal, repair and regulate itself. In a clinical setting, peptide therapy means a licensed provider evaluating whether a targeted peptide protocol fits your health goals, and supervising it if it does.

Who is peptide therapy for?

People generally come to us about peptides for support with recovery, physical performance, sleep quality, and general wellness optimization. Whether peptide therapy is appropriate for you is a clinical judgment, not a checkbox — it depends on your history, your current medications and what you are actually trying to achieve.

How does it work at HIM & HER?

  1. Book an appointment. Schedule online or text 865-666-8070.
  2. Complete a medical evaluation. New patients complete a one-time annual health exam ($49), valid for a year. This is a real clinical review, not a formality.
  3. Discuss whether peptides fit. Your provider reviews your history and goals and tells you honestly whether peptide therapy is a reasonable option for you.
  4. Ongoing supervision. If you proceed, your protocol is provider-supervised throughout.

What does peptide therapy cost?

Peptide protocols are individualized, so pricing is discussed at your visit once your provider knows what — if anything — is appropriate for you. The one-time annual health exam is $49 and is required before therapy begins. We are cash-pay: no insurance billing and no surprise fees. HSA and FSA cards are accepted.

Is peptide therapy available across Tennessee?

Yes. Peptide visits are conducted by telehealth and are available to residents anywhere in Tennessee, including Knoxville, Nashville, Memphis, Chattanooga, Murfreesboro, Clarksville, Franklin, Johnson City, Jackson and Kingsport.

A straight answer about what we will not do

We will not sell you a protocol you do not need. Peptides are a legitimate clinical tool and also a heavily over-marketed one. If your provider does not think peptide therapy is right for you, they will say so and talk through what might actually help instead.
